Our concept is bread for everyday enjoyment. For us, bread is a necessity for daily life, and not a luxury item. As such, our products are simple, handmade delights fresh-baked daily with a distinctly Japanese flavor, free from additives and preservatives.
Our Story
The Loaf is produced by Okayama Kobo. Okayama Kobo was founded by Tsunetaka Kawakami, who established a baking consulting business, and through this helped open over 200 bakery locations across Japan. Now applying the same methods and techniques, using authentic Japanese ingredients, The Loaf was born.
